What WWII guns do u have

I had heard that in europe guns with interchangeble calibers were very popular.    Here.... we just buy 5 or ten and leave em laying around till we want to take em out and plink with em.  I like to reload so like revolvers in the heavy calibers like 44 mag or .45..  Cost for a box of 44 mag (50 rounds) is about $4.00 for my reloads.

I can't imagine that there are much higher quality pistols or revolvers than we have a choice from here.   The Used market is very good also.   The real fees are the transfer and such which add about 30 dollars to the price.

I can't really think of any european 44 mag or 45 or 454 revolvers that are better quality than our dan wessons and smiths and colts and casuls.   We also have a host of custom gunmakers that will sell you just about any pistol or revolver type you want.

Well I agree with you when it comes to "service" guns. You guys make pretty good, sturdy guns. I am myself a S&W fan.

But, when it comes to the kind of targetshooting I am talking about, I am affraid these guns just donīt cut it.

I shoot a 422 S&W in the 22.cal group and I make pretty nice score with it. I hate the thumb-rests and special made handles, as well as putting weight and adjust triggers to the extreme. And I can do just as nice with the K22 as any of the guys do with the Pistols, during quickshooting.

But yet, nothing is more straight shooting then the SIG 210/6 with the 7.65, handloads. If you get the opertunity, try one, youd be suprised.

And I also agree on USA making the very best .44/.45, magnum guns. But if i had a free choice, I take a mahurin for the cal. 38.

To be really honest, its not really the gun that make the result, its who shoots it.

And, it was a long time ago, that I stoped paying for my Ammo :D

I am an ok shot and allmost all my handguns will shoot better than I can hold em.

I have a K22 and like it a lot but I am not into 22's that much... I am not into olympic style handguns in any case.   I have had upper end hi standard but... no interest in 22's most of the time... would rather shoot the k22 tho than some fancy olympic gun.

I don't shoot at paper much and don't even have a 38 in the safe.

I like to shoot out in open country at unknown ranges from 30 to 400 yards at targets of opportunity... there is no use for the guns you mention for me...  I have several handguns that will shoot sub 1" groups at 25 yards but not really into that... shooting paper is kinda boring for me.
