Why not the JU88p.

A BK 7.5 75mm PaK 40 cannon mounted in a Junkers Ju 88P-1. Since the huge gun affected flight characteristics, an explosive device was fitted so the pilot could jettison the gun and mounting.

Gear

your photos show a G-1. The G-2 did not have any wing guns (nor the G-1(MG17)), the fairing being removed at the factory.

Panzerjagdkommando Weiss was formed in Feb 1943, so your spec saying 1942 has to be questioned (typo?). The first units to use the G-1 was during Zitadelle in July 1943 with Pz.J.sta./StG 1 and Pz.J.sta./StG 2.

The range number listed is for econo cruise, normal range being ~800-850km.

Each Flak 18 was 600lb with only 12 rounds/cannon.

If you also will check out the insignia shield below the cockpit on Gear's bottom picture I think you will find the version pictured is a NIGHTFIGHTER version of the JU 88.

The C-series, also known as the Z-series was the destroyer and night fighter version of the Ju88 since 1938. This series was developed from the Ju88-V7 and was principly based on the A-series. Instead of the glased nose section of the A-series, the C-series got a metal nose section and a remote machine gun at the rear tail unit. The C2/C3 were used as "Jabos" and got bomb mountings plus machine guns in the nose section. The C6 was used as a day and night fighter version and was equipped with radar systems, as well as with additional remote machine guns at the rear of the cockpit cabin.
