Any of you lucky Fellers living in Texas get to see that? Dallas June 04?

Just picked up the double DVD and it's just way to cool. Clapton, Jimmie Vaughn, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, BB King, James Taylor, Joe Walsh, VInce Gill, JJ Cale, Carlos Santana, John Mayer, John McLaughlin, Larry CarltonJohnny Lang, David Hidalgo, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, and ZZ Top.

Unreal!

Believe me, I wanted to be there badly.  Work told me otherwise.  Too bad SRV (no MrBlack comments, please) wasn't there.

I've met and seen Jimmie many many times.  I never get sick of his playing.  I bet that was a great few days to be in Dallas.

Just about every guitar god alive today. Blue's Rock Speed and Jazz.

Steve Vai was good, but he had 3 guys backing him up so it was kinda hard to pick him out of the crowd till the other 2 stopped.

Eric Johnson and John McLaughlin were two of the technically best IMHO and FAST.

That dude from India, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt put on a pretty good show as well.

Lotsa groovey slide shows as well.

I heard allot of good things about young Lang, and actually bought one of his albums, but didn't hear it on that nor really on this. He had a couple a good licks but I just don't see the hoopla.

Yeah, Dick Dale is pretty good. I always like that sound. Looks like he's grooming the next generation.
