This is my second cpu that i use the most at work. Pings are always around 47 and i once a day get the boot. I am starting to dislike this alot.. Also i think i am on my 9th disco for the month is week. I only share a office with 3 other guys and only play when they are gone, its bussi class cable contection. CPU stats

All I notice is the note at "DxDiag Notes" that says you have old files and should reinstall DirectX.

Another is your monitor refresh rate which is at 85Hz. I'd slow it down to 60Hz.

Don't forget to turn off all those pesky background programs (Windows Update, Antivirus, Windows Firewall...etc)

Use a good updated antivirus program to scan your system. You may have something working in the background thats hogging your cpu.

Open up your computers case and blow out the dust and fluff balls. Check your fans and make sure they are running proper to keep heat to a safe level.

I have done everthing but the monitor refresh rate will try that. DXdiag i have installed 3 times and it still give me the same BS. What is the proper format for removal of DX.. Its a new cpu so their is no dust (:

I'd bet money on a corrupted Direct X install. Are you using the same "installer" each time? Or are you going to the Microsoft website and downloading it over again? I'm assuming you downloaded it once, and are reusing the same installer. It could have been corrupted during the download. Get a new copy of it from the MS website and try it again. There is also a scrubber out there that wipes out the files, but I have no idea where to get it. Also, make sure you arent running any AV program during the install, as that can mess it up.

I certainly wouldnt turn my refresh rate down until I had ruled out all the software problems first. And I certainly wouldnt turn it all the way down to 60hz in one jump. If it is a refresh issue, turn it down to 75hz first and see if that will work before going all the way down. Why throw away framerates if you dont need to?

If you cant find the cleaner that gets rid of old DX installs, I would hunt down the files listed in your DX Diagnostic report and manually delete them. Then reinstall Direct X again. I can hazard a few guesses as to why the old files arent being replaced, but I usually end up being wrong when I guess lol.
