AH1 Vet / AH2 newbie wonders 'bout install...
« on: January 17, 2005, 11:42:16 PM »
Hullo, I was just wondering; when I install the AH2 download will it overwrite or delete any AH1 files?
As we all know when installing upgrades/new versions of software older versions files are replaced/overwritten etc. and I would like to keep AH1 installed for now.

BTW I know this may be a stupid question but I'm just being (over)cautious.
Yes I have AH1 backed up anyways but I'd be too lazy to reinstall it if any parts were deleted by the AH2 install. :p

Lookin' forward to jumping back into the fray;

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now, I am SO far behind, I will never die!

AH1?? Why you want that ol' thing.  come on..time to move up to
the wonderful 1995 graphic's engine in AH2!!
    Can you still get AH1 anywhere?  I wouldn't mind seeing what it looked and played like.

I kept AH1 installed, to be able to go back and look at old films from AH1.........

Nope it doesn't overwrite ah1 at all.

You can even point it to a new location, (ie diff folder) as your installing if your worried.

It WILL ask if you want to inport your old settings & stuff over.
