To be honest, I don't even like most of the movies I liked as a teen.

My sister brought home ND and "Garden State" the other day.  Napolean Dynamite was funny at times.  "Oh he's just jealous cuz I've been talking to this super hot chick online like allll day" :rofl  and the dance scene was possibly the funniest one I've seen yet.

OTOH, Garden State was hilarious.  It actually has a fairly deep plot, and there are plenty of actually funny jokes in it.  It's another one your teenagers will probably be bringing home soon, and I think there's a much better chance you'll like it.

ND is a rollercoaster ride of sorts.  I went and saw it in the theater and was wondering why the hell I paid money for it until about 30 minutes into the movie.  That's about when you get the feel for the characters and it all just seems hillarious.

Maybe Sandman doesn't get it because he's too busy training to be a cage fighter?
