ohh i know its not a high priority, just thought id throw in out there, so i can help sell this game better to some buddies, sure ht wouldnt mind that:p

You know the thing that bothered me from day1 was the advertisement flash that plays on the initial page. I find it annoying and somehow unprofessional-like.

Sure it's noisy and has plenty of bangs and action, but it hardly reveals the true soul of the game. A montage of a couple historical pics, dramatic takeoff and then a brief guncam shot would have done the game much more justice.

The advert makes you think this is complete arcade, not the best online WWII combat sim on the planet!

The home page definetly needs a revamp, looks like it is 10 years old not a modern flight sim.

If HiTech is looking for customers thats a start.

And the film is bad, the noise makes you run away and close the window instead of attracting intrest.

Sorry to be so harsh, but it is like that.

I'd have to agree on this.

Its more annoying then enticing.

Perhaps with all the talent floating around here somone would do the honors of creating a new and improved one for them.

Maybe have a little contest and let the players vote on which we like best.

I second that idea, actually I wanted to make an alternative flash just to spur interest on the subject.

Even though I'm not a subscriber anymore (mainly for time restrictions) the game rocks and it would be cool to benefit the company somehow.

Sadly, I spend the little time available posting here instead of making it. :rolleyes:

YOu can't get rid of those screen shots! Would you Throw away your family photo album just because you had a child and its not in the old pictures???

no your being honest and 100% correct.

change the music to something like  Holst- "Mars - Bringer of war"  to give one a sence of "hey, something is about to happen here"

And AH2 screens are significantly better? I doubt for anyone new (nor me for that matter) they would really notice the difference.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I understood the transition to AHII to be a set of steps - a generational change setting the groundwork for enhanced graphics in addition to the improved FM change. The new cockpits and external graphics are being updated and released as they are done. It's hard to release them before they are done...

I don't think you have a reasonable appreciation of how complex the task is of bringing the 3-D, 2-D, FM and DM to life, plus terrains, etc.

Anyway, your obsessive, one-track postings are getting tedious. Try being clever, witty, insightful, helpful or even motivating.
