My guess is that no one will fly the early 38s.

I sure will.

There will be a game update in the near future and they will be released then. In the next few weeks most likely.

The current P38 is far too uber (but that might change if they EVER fix the overblown flaps system)

I thought HTC modeled flaps to accurate specific data sources they referenced

what is so uber about the P38 and what is overblown about the flap system?

And there's the one that really nails the biggest benefit for us of having more planes early/late models.

This is where the CT will shine.  And (IMHO) what has been hurting it.  The CM's having to stretch years of operation for various models to try to balance an unbalanced planeset.  Having to sub in planes that never flew in those TO's at all for the same reason.  It gets old after awhile, and for new people looking for something different from the MA, its just too drastic a change with the sometimes VERY limited planesets.

Now someone can pop into a PTO setup and have a little more choice for a ride.  On the US side anyway.  If we get a Ki-43 and a Betty things will really start looking up for the Japs.  The more planes we get to choose from and to fill in holes, the better the CT will perform and the more fun it will be.  I'm not touching the modelling issues.  But I am happy with the current trend, and I hope it continues.

I will not return to the CT until the modelling issue is dealt with.

I have been flying allied for two weeks now and the imbalance is unbelievable.  If you guys want the CT to thrive the balance in modelling is critical.

Unless the player is a "marquise" player then there is little he can do with with any axis plane since patch 5.

I will fly allied in the MA and not at all in the CT until those issues are resolved.

I think what will ultimately occur is that HTC will revert to the previous modelling and say "here it is it's fixed"

My guess is that no one will fly the early 38s. The P40 will probably be more fun in the CT.

The P38 G will always outpeform the p40

and it turns with it easily

Guess what no fun??

Heh. Welcome to the club of people who fly 202s and A6M2s and Hurri Is and P40Bs. The new 38 is going to be a challenge, and those who learn to fly it well will be the best.

Its an easy mode plane

:D

to me it is
