My Mac Mini that is. :)

Just got it in...wow it's tiny. I'm a PC guy but decided to grab a Mini to try something new. It will be my secondary multimedia / browsing system.

I am ordering one for my dad in a few days. It should be great for him. I'm a powerbook guy myself :)

What do you think of it so far? is it responsive and what extras did you get for it?

Nilsen, it's still sitting in the box next to me at work. As soon as I get home I'll hook it up see how she runs.

I've messed around with the new OS X on a friends laptop and really like it. Looking forward to playing with a new OS.

The dang thing is so small, wonder how they can keep it cool yet quiet?

I got the lower end version but I added the 512MB of RAM. I figured I didn't need a powerhouse, just something to play around with.

Yeah, but you are really gonna enjoy the extra ram. OSX loves ram like no other OS out there and with the "slow" laptop drive in it (4200) its even more important.

I _think_ it has an external powersupply and that is the way they keep it cool. The innards is prolly similar to a laptop.

Nielsen,

Well I hooked my Mac Mini up to my 2nd PC's LCD and USB Mouse/Keyboard. It's working like a charm so far. OS X is a beautiful operating system. Everything is very well laid out and top-notch.

Since this is my first Mac I will have a learning curve, but looking forward to something new.

Btw, did I mention it is VERY small! :)
