Very, very nice NATEDOG.

I like how the P-38G's engine nacells look more streamlined.  The cockpits look really nice too.  Better than the Ki-84's and B-24's by a very noticable margin.

Looks like I'm going to have some issues with the visibility in the G cockpit, though.

Arghhh!!!!  No leading edge landing light on the G and Early Js!

Don't know that I've ever seen the bazooka launchers on a G either for that matter

Sweet Jeebus!!!

On the plus side, does this mean it's got forward armor on the G to prevent pilot wounds from frontal attacks? :P

Couple more observations.  The flat armor windscreen was added during the J model run, but as this is an early J as I understand it, it probably should still have the rounded windscreen with the internal armor.

Krusty, the later 38s had the flat armor ias part of the windscreen instead of the flat armor glass inside of the rounded windscreen.  Same thickness of armor.

For what it's worth the radiators on the booms were smaller on the G as was the small intake in from of them.  It appears they are the same on the G as the J.

Oh, and please no black antiglare panal on the OD birds....please?!?! :)

Guess it sound's like I'm complaining.  Not meaning it that way as I've been hoping for an early model 38 for a long time.

Thanks for all the work

just save the forward hat which isnt generally used anyways for a guage view, pull back on the stick, or get trackirV .

Im impressed natedog!  and the guage placement isnt bad, doesnt hack apart the cockpit at least, just re arranged on dashboard.

Looking forward to final release!

Use the arrow keys to move your head position.  It looks like you'll be able to see the most commonly used controls without any trouble though.
