Cut your export to AVI to less than 1 minute and see if that helps

Okay try this...

on the right hand side it says, Save as AVI.  When you save as an avi... select the codec uncompressed, this will take up some HD space, the avi will be in it's raw form.  Try only doing 30 seconds of that... see if you get the same thing.

ok got it

another thing i noticed is i can only use uncompressed, that i think has to do with why the ground afshrecks look so fuzy, all the other codec's wont work for some reason?

enter as a guest go to ah films and its the first film called

Uncompressed is your best quality, the avi hasn't been compressed.  I work with all of mine uncompressed untill I am done with my flick,  I compress my movie very last.  Try using Fraps http://www.fraps.com to capture your film.  You won't get all that fuzziness.  Plus your vid card might have something to do with that.

Your using Microsoft Movie Maker... when your done with it, save your movie.... that is being compressed with .wmv, (Windows Media Video 9).  Just some of us use divx or quicktime... that MMM doesn't offer.

to reiterate stream's advice, save AVIs uncompressed and then get divxx to compress the finished movie. this way you deffinitely get best quality vs compression.

you can get divxx for free, search the web for it.

i find fraps gives poor quality for AH2. its great for any other game, just AH2 seems to have a tough animation code to capture.

ge fraps for free at http://www.fraps.com also

stream, if I subscribed to the full version of fraps does the capture quality improve?
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Don't know Mechanic?  I have never had the free version... I would assume so... but you know what happens when we assume.

As long as your happy with your end work... that's all that matters.  Each person has a vision on what they want to protray.  I did like it.

I think it is time to put these movies into a story line though... have a plot to them.  That is what my next one will be.
