HT Please spread the fighter hangers out.

With the FH all grouped together it is too easy to drop  them and stop the fighting IMO.  It's getting almost as bad as the Fuel used to be.  EVery time something good gets started, 2 seconds later the hangers are dead.

Yup.

Back in AH1 when it actually took some sort of skill to bomb it was something that you could deal with. One maybe two FH's taken down with one other standing.

Now, we have them lined up like they are awaiting execution.

I say make them TWICE as hard and spread them out.

You get a fight going and someone who MUST win the war sees this and in a single pass its all gone.

Then to continue fighting you must fly from another base sectors away now.

Worst part is they aren't winning the war either.

They leave the VH up and it turns into Baghdad.

Then the kicker is, the city is virtually untouched hahhaha.

And best of all, When the fianlly take the city down nobodies got a goon.  LOLH.

I wish VH,  Too many FH.  lolh.:lol

Seriousely tho, all the strat jockies in here and very few can take a base 123 like the old days.  Some do, and you know who you are for all the guys who's panties almost started to bunch. :lol  It's still all timing and even more so in AHII, especially when there is resistance.

I'm not trying to trivialize taking a base either, but I am saying if a base has a bunch of friendly fighters over it put your bombs somewhere that might do some good or hold em till the fightes have to rtb or are all dead.

I dont care how many times you kill the FH, if you dont have a goon and the city down shortly after you drop the last hanger your not gonna get the base.

Now granted, if you are dropping hangers to stop horde and stop an onslaught then by all means drop the hangers.

On the flip side it is equally important for the fighters to press the attack.  Too many fighters get caught up fighting at the home base instead of pressing the attack.  You have to press the attack so as not to let the enemy climb.  There are way too many snoozers caused by the guys who love to climb to 15+ and BnZ then as soon as they blow the advantage as 90% of the guys in here do, they just cut and run.  And there is nothing anyone can do to change this other than press the attack.

Of course none of this is important if you have 40+ guys, then all you need to do is kill VH, Ack and City.  If you kill anything else that just means, your timing blows and you cant cap.

Ohhhh welll .

Was it Fester's OzKansas map that had the slightly "unconvential" base arrangements in places?

In addition to the hangers being close together.......the bases are all the freakin' same on most maps!

Some of the fields on one of Fester's maps were a little bit different...made it more realistic, instead of "cookie-cutter" fields.

Sounds like it'll be switched up shortly though :).
