Sad to see Johhny Carson had passed away.
IMHO he was one of the all time greats.
He brought a lot of laughter to a lot of folks for a very, very long time.
I watched this guy from the time I was a kid and when I think of night time talk shows I think of Johhny and Ed.
  He will be missed.

I was hoping he would come back to TV some day.

Sad to see him go.

He will be missed greatly.  He probably has God rolling in laughter now doing his "fork-in-the-road" skits.
I do believe he left because of failing health, didn't he?

How about another 6 threads about Johnny Carson?   Yeah, he is dead, so what.  He made a freaking fortune working  a few hours a day, maybe 40 weeks a year.   A lot less fuss was made about Mother Theresa passing, and her contribution to this world was much greater.

The Best Of Johnny Carson set on CD or VHS is well worth having BTW. It makes for some very funny and nostalgic viewing on a cold day. It will pick ya right up.

Yea but Mother Theresa didnt make us laugh for 30+ years.
nor was she in our homes on a nightly basis.

Actually I do seem to remember a rather large fuss made over her passing.

Wasnt there even talk of sainthood for a while?

course if you dont like the subject of a thread you can do something really unique like not read or post in it.

Posting in it only makes it stick around longer:)
