It was the way you were commenting on the fh being dropped and the vh still being up that made it seem to be an attack mars. You were not the only one making comments though. Just my opinion as I am sure thats was not your intent.

Yeah I guess the "morons" part was wrong.  I apologise to all that took it personally.  Still it just doesn't make sense to me.

I don't know why AHII has become so FH centric these days.
AHI the first thing that was dropped was the VH, second was ack and city and only if you could not get a CAP and or were facing large resistance would we then drop the FHs.

Today it seems the only thing people are worried about is, "kill the FHs."  IMO I wouldn't care if it was a successfull strategy and people were easily taking fields that way, but they aren't.  I have lost count of how many times we have had a CAP on a field and the VH and city are up and in come the heros wasting their ord on the FHs and to boot don't even have a goon on the way or any plan of dropping the city.

Personally I like 999, he has always been a stand up guy to this point.  I wasn't thrilled with the way he lit into the FBs they are good guys and work hard at taking fields.  Saying stuff like "You guys suck and you are the but of a joke in the knight community and don't even know it." Isn't cool and very out of character for him.  I am even a little more bummed that he continues to make personal attacks in here.

Seem to remember that's why we left Rooks, we got attacked for taking down FHs even though city and VH was down.

I was at 45 when this happened and like Mars, I also commented on it. It wasn't directed towards anyone (heck, I cleared 2 guys off 999's tail), it doesn't make sense to kill the FH and turn the 10 guys that are trying to up into 10 M16s/flaks by not killing the VH first.

I didn't know 999 was the one that killed the FH but my opinion stays the same. If you kill the FH before the VH there is no way a capture is going to happen.

I apologize if he took it as an offense, but killing FHs first doesn't make sound strategy.

JB73 I did say some not so kind things about the JB's .....after JBRabtor? took a cheap shot......My comments were honest and truthful, but based only on my opion..I'm not here to tell ANYONE whats right or what is wrong, I can only offer my perspective. JB73 you know it goes without saying that you have my highest respect as a pilot and a true gentlemen.  Mars BTW you should know that just getting to 45 last night for the better part of an hour plus took extreme efforts!!!..to get a bomb off on anything was a miricle with 20-30 enemy up! RTpacfan stated that if we kept on hitting the Bish we might as well join the Rooks....so I did!  I "play the game" with honor and respect enjoy friends and foes with mutaul admiration......the game drastically loses its appeal when the country(team) I'm on starts berating eachother.

Trip 9 I wish you would reconcider.

I know Mars, and I know how he feels when there is a great battle going and all of the hangers are dropped. Meanwhile, all those guys who were in fighters have now taken a stonghold on the base in every GV imaginable.

Fighters can always be blasted out of the sky very easily. But a flack in the town can take 10-15 minutes sometimes to straffe down with no bombs around. Thats why I always stress the importance of taking down the VH first when I'm flying to a base and see a bunch of guys asking what they should bomb first.

It really should go without saying, and I dont understand alot of times why its such a difficult decision to make. (VH should always go down first)

In saying that, I know Mars has alot of respect for you. And he meant no harm by getting a little upset at the situation last night. But when a fighter pilot is having fun killing fighters and helping to cap a base, and all of the sudden there are 30 less enemy fighters in the air and 30 more enemy GV's, it can be, well, anoying to say the least.
