Please give it a rest, I say good riddance to the both of ya, but you know what I would have done the same thing if were in your shoes. I to would have bombed the fighter hangers but I would not leave my country just because a few people whined about it. If they want to be cry babies then so be it.

Give it a rest? Since when is it a crime to give a friend best wishes?

I don't know how to politely say this BBQ_Bob, but I'll give best wishes to friends any time I want and if you don't like it - UP YOURS!!!

I had my first opportunity to shoot down 999000 & tatertot last night since their departure. Two squadies and I see them coming low(imagine that)over the water towards 39. They have a third formation of buffs with them(new apprentice probably)and we all set up for the attack. I do little damage on my first pass and pull up and around for another. I swoop in on 999000's 8-7 o'clock and bam, my engine is dead.
Don't worry #s, I will get you(lol).

P.S. The funny thing about this is my old squad, the 1st Nasty, switched over to the Knights last night. So, we traded two pilots for a whole squad. Like Graham Green said to Kevin Costner in "Dances With Wolves", "GOOD TRADE".

The fact is it was not I..... but yourself who jumped in with disperaging remarks. I then responded to you ( my mistake) with my honest and truthful opion of your squad in general (didn't know you were even the one in charge of them) . You comments being from the leader of the FB's makes it even a bit more dissapointing. My comments are simply my opion from my experience with the FB's..nothing I said then I need to take back..if you would want I can offer further explaination to why I have the perspectives I do.

All this is, is a cry for attention. 999, i have no problem with you but thats all i see this as. And some attempt to draw negative attention towards Mars.

You have a right to bomb any dam thing you want. Just like I have the right to kill any dam thing I want. The two are very similar. BUT...

When I see a con and he's in the middle of fighting it out with a friendly, jumping in and taking the pick just for the sake of getting a kill isn't right. There is nothing noble in that.

Here is where I make the connection between those two things...

When you see a base, and there's a bunch of friendlies capping it, there's no need to fly over and knock down all of the fighter hangers just for the sake of doing so. I dont care how long or hard you flew to get there. Dropping them like you did with a rock solid cap over the base wasnt needed. What WAS needed was the VH to be dropped and the town to be taken down as well. Now, I know you know how to check strat at an enemy air field. And most of the time its easy to tell zoomed in from a distance if a VH is up or down. You could have very easily lined up with the VH and the town to drop on both. (I know, I spent countless hours in bombers before I starte flying fighters a long time ago, but I did it from 30k with a bomb sight that took some brains to figure out)

Look, I will be honest with you. When it comes to winning this "war" everyone talks about, I couldnt care less... I will help most often when I can. Either by taking bombs on my 38 or 51 which I fly often or flying cap until the goon comes in. I do know whats important when it comes to taking bases. Alot of it means you need to make decisions fast on the spot. To cut to the chase here... With all FH's up, a solid friendly fighter cap over the base, The VH up, The town Up, and word of a goon on the way....

Dropping 3 stinkin fighter hangers should have been the last thing on your list of things to do there.

Like I said before. I have no problem with you. I just have a problem with how some people will deffend a poor decision even after the fact. But I thats MY problem, not yours.

You wanted to draw attention to mars, negative no less and make it understood that you were switching countries because of him. Well hell, if I ran away from every thing and everyone I didnt like, I'd be running in circles. I'm sorry but for what its worth, thats what happened. (I doubt to you my thoughts on the reasons why are worth much. And that's your right.)

I'd like to think I'm pretty fair when I see or hear something and then draw a judgmental conclusion.

I was ticked off too when you nailed all the FH's at the only base that had a somewhat good fight going. I just didnt say anything. Mars did. And he had a right to. There was no reason for bombing FH's when there was atleast three other objects that needed to be taken down. What he said wasnt candy coated like everyone likes, but he didnt have to candy coat it.

Lastly.

You didnt see mars in here starting threads pertaining to these events did you?
