Unusual Spits getting hard to find

Mostly seems to be the Canadians who changed things from the default setup.

Weren't some Spits (Mk14s?) stripped of their paint in 1944 to help them gain a few MPH so they could chase down V1s? Maybe an all metal Spit when we get the specularity adjustment?

Of course Furball won't use it. :)

Wish I could bare metal, but I'll leave it to the masters :)
Tried doing bare metal, and silver painted stuff, just looks a mess.

Haven;t seen wartime Spit XIVs in all metal.  There are photos of Spit IXs that had the paint removed though.  And they're wartime birds.
