Screen Freeze Mid-game
« on: January 28, 2005, 02:21:15 AM »
Lately I've been having the screen freeze up on me mid-game, hitting esc or enter restarts it at times, mostly not, & I get booted
out with "AcesHigh.exe Error Msg" asking me if I wish to report it
to Microsoft, if I answer YES the report is filed but I'm still unable
to play, answering NO avails me the same recourse, inability to
play the game  :(

I updated my Nvidia drivers just recently to version 71.50, my set-
ting is on Quality, framerates are 31-45.

Everything's todate, no probs until recently

Any advice re putting an end to this dilemma?  My Video is set to
800x600, 512 mb, sound set to 3/4.

CH Fighterstick USB

Thx 4 ur help :)

What video card do you have?  If it is not an FX6xxx series, then you need to go back to the 61.77 NVidia drivers.  There are many issues with the newer drivers running on cards older than the FX6xxx series.

Also, email me a copy of your DXDIAG output so I can take a look for other potential issues.

So w/ win98se, and FX5200 I should be doing the 61.77?

errr...or in my case for win98 it would 61.76 IIRC
