Thinking back how HiTech likes to release versions on Fridays, and noticing the recent posts from Pyro about ver.2.02, I wonder, could it be today?.........:D

Actually, we hate releasing on Friday.  It's the worst day to do a release.

My guess is that Wednesday is the best release day.

Monday-Tuesday to polish it up.
Wednesday to release.
Thrusday-Friday to fix any showstoppers.

Heheheh, use of the term "like" was probably inappropriate. Just seems that "like" or not, there have been several friday releases, probably originally scheduled for earlier in the week, but delayed due to last minute bug squishing!
Friday release probably equals working all weekend responding to problems. You guys don't like to work all weekend? :rofl

i would have thought friday would have been the best day to release it... right before closing.

Release it... run out the office as fast as possible and lock the door.....  Don't go near a computer or telephone to escape the incessant whining, hopefully by monday morning the players have whined themselves out and are back at work...

That's pretty much it.  Friday releases aren't planned, they just work out that way sometimes.

Kaz, that was the plan on the TE but that plan did not survive.  The good news is that the TE and the new object editor are both ready to go now.  We'll release those as soon as the glut of 2.02 downloads subsides.
