Film Viewer Crashes When Guns Fire
« on: January 28, 2005, 07:47:42 PM »
I'm having the same problem....it occurs for me whenever the guns are being fired on my plane (external or internal view).  As soon as the tracers start I get a crash.

I just noticed today with the new update this same exact problem.Wanted to film some of the new special effects and whenever my guns fire the aces high film viewer crashes. I've never had this problem before.

they need to patch the film viewer ...

it only crashes when you fire your guns and they hit a plane .. its in the hit sprites on planes i think .. its unaffected by ground objects ...   make a film ... shoot at everything but and airplane (save this for last ) then kill a plane ... go watch filn u'll see what i mean.

i spent over an hour yesterday chasing down excactly when the viewer crashed ..

did you check to see if anouther plane was firing near you ????   it may not be limited to your plane ... but could be caused by anyplane getting hit sprites .

I didnt test that part
