I believe I once read that low flying pilots in WWII would avoid flying into the spray brought up from firining into the water beacuse it was like hitting a wall, causing their aircraft to crash.

And I also believe that I read when Pappy Boyington was shot down, hitting water from the spray was a contributing factor. Or I could be mixing it up with another book.

I want ground snow atleast, and a overcast sky. Just a white ground and a grey crappy looking day.

I think the new clouds are a vast improvement over the old, but the "12:00" high sunshine that never goes away seems a bit bland.

HTC,  your thoughts?

ZAP it just hit your plane, took out the engine and instruments, and you can no longer see icons in game because you are disorientated.

As I understand it - we lost night in AH1 because of complaints of lack of visibility ( ).

Do you not think that mist filled valleys, rain and shadow casting thunder clouds would result in the same?

Weather would be an isolated thing I would imagine.

When it rains say, in your town, or even your state, is it also raining everywhere else in the world?

If they didnt like it then they'd have to stay out of it. Or would atleast have the choice. :aok

I think its a neat thing. But dont get me wrong. I wouldnt go looking for a fight in it.

I like the challenge that comes with any fight, but I doubt I'd be interested in seeking a challenge in which I was unable to see what I'm shooting at.

I SOMETIMES take up a bomber when I'm going to be afk for a while or just can't find a fight. I think in some ways it would be fun/interesting to add this factor to the game.

Not to mention it would probably also make it look alot nicer.

I would like to see more chiggers added to the grass just for Morph. :D
If you can see the gauges in the new 38s , then you should be able to spot the chiggers with no problem.

Heavy rain with low hanging clouds would be nice... denying any bombing because you cant see the target and focing the fighters to patrol over the cloud layer... option to totally escape a fight with diving into low vis altitude and vanishing. Some high alt dogfights instead of the grass kissing lawmover circling.

Also equip airports with the 0 vis landing equip... i think it was a two channle radio, indicating left right with lower or higher pitched tones as you went wrong? something like that with the explanation... great stuff... would add a whole new point to "landed successfull".

Although I wouldnt want global weather, meaning the entire arena is raining, and socked in...this is ww2 afterall and there werent many all weather aircraft, I would like squalls and such to randomly pass through.

Ive often seen areas were the cloud comes right down to the sea, looking like a squall. It would be a good place to hide a fleet. Or if one pass over land, it may throw off an attack at a key base which would be cool. Something the size of 2 -4 sectors blowing through would be nice.
