Am I the only Joker who likes to sit down, crack open a cold one and fire up a drop tank equipped plane (ME109 in my case) for some deep hi-alt run into enemy airspace?

I belong to squads that are pretty much based in WB's, I have used RW for a long time. But sometimes I just like flying by myself above the bad guys, waiting for that poor joker, winging with a buddy or two, to climb up to me, and catch his bellybutton in a stall situation.

And do the same to his buddies too.

Nothing Sweeter in my opinion.

Love it..
But not as fun as going in a 109g2 at 5' and hunting around enemy bases for unaware newly launched....He he commando raid..The feeling of speed at that height is very cool.

I am a lone wolf by heart (though I love to participate in organized events). It's the reason squads don't appeal to me. When I kill anyone (other than Mighty1, my real-life brother) I feel absolutely no remorse. I am also free to fly whatever side I want, whenever I want.

Used to lone-wolf it all the time in DoA... ah... my poor little DVa against 3 Camels..

Then it was 5 Camels....

Then it was 8 Camels....

But I digress. You old DoA pilots know what I mean.

OH YEA! Know exactly what you mean. At least my spad could outrun them   Still, was nothing sweeter then nailing a camel when flying a DVA or spad.

I kind of like to do my own thing at times as well, always was a lone wolf myself in DOA but I find more and more I enjoy being part of the group effort as well. Depends on the mood I am in.

Yep, Lone Wolfing is just me.

Going from one base to the other repeatetly just loose my interest quite fast. No way to go into a good dogfight, because you know that you will be dead in 2 mins whether or not you make the kill, because an enemy will always be there higher than you.

No, up in my 109G2 (tried a G10 yesterday but that was an exception), and then go up in a quiet part of the front. Also like to make patrols or interceptions in my backland for high buffs and always go there if I someone calls it out and I am not in the middle of a flight.

If noone calls, I take it over the silent front. Bish/knit or Bish/Rook, depending on the situation of the night and then just stroll around. Enemies are bound to show up as they always mistake me for bomber going for base or HQ (alas, sometimes I AM just that   ) and then it is a good old  fashion dogfight and then I like the good old WWI saying: "Kill the bandit and then run before his friends get there".

I love to open a cold Pepsi(8hrs bottle to throttle..hehe), turn on the TV to the history channel(hopefully something interesting), get a Pony with full fuel, and seeing what's happening between angels 25-30.
It really wakes one up to see a con and it turns out to be a fighter and not a buff.
Sure gets interesting.....wheeeeeeeee!

I am lone wolf all the way. I do much better when I don't have to worry about covering anyone.

I always put myself in bad situations just to see if I can get out of them.(love the N1K for this)

Oh yeah! Don't listen to Kieren..he loves it every time he kills me. I can hear him from my house everytime he does..Nah Nah killed you Ha Ha Ha!

Oh yeah! Kieren it's good to see you dropped Dolomite for your real Handle.

Got tired of people asking "What's a Dolomite".

Yes, I'm a lone prowler too. I'm an irregular player and can't usually fly long sessions. This profile is not for playing in a squad I think. So, 30-45 min. bomber intercept missions in a G10 are what I mostly do.
Of course every now and then make the mistake of entering a dogfight on the climb out. Usually end up hitting the silk or shot to pieces. BTW Snefens, you really know how to throw that g2 around <S>.
