This would be one of those that would be a problem as it looks like it was an H-1. Corky Smith of the 80th FS Headhunters had 4 38s named Corky during his time with the Headhunters. His first was an F-5. this was an H and then he had a J and and L.

I can't seem to find a good Headhunter G model to use for my first skin and I REALLY want a Headhunter early model 38

Anyway, as my first attempt at skinning a 38. Here's Corky Jr. Just prior to the mission on October 24, 1943 to Rabaul where Corky Smith got his 5th kill to become an ace.

Typical Nomad P-38 landing. In fact, as good as, or better than most.
