Phantom Guns going off

Ever since the update I've been hearing these guns going off and many times I am no where near anyone. I haven't gotten it on film, maybe I have but I can't watch any films with the film bug.

They just sort of happen randomly. No they are not little voices inside my head. I've told them to be quite while I play.

Anyone else experience this?

What kind of gun noise are you hearing?  (machine gun/ AA etc)
When at a field i hear a regular burst of about 3 rounds of machine gun fire at intervals of about every 3 seconds.  I thought this was odd too, but I think its actually AI guns firing at incoming targets.  Could be wrong though.
