Playing two balls is stealing a round of golf...play your 1st ball then get the hell outta the way so I can make YOUR course pretty and playable.

The 3 to 10 seconds a maintenece person makes you wait is nothing compared to the 27 practice swings you take before addressing the ball.

Got a million more but out of time, so swing away you heros of the little white ball, and don't forget when you get back to the clubhouse to whine; the greens are too green, the roughs are too rough and the sand is too sandy. Hmmm, sounds kinda like AH don't it.

;)

LOL, if you are like most greenskeepers I know, you'd rather no one ever played your course so it would be a perfect tribute to the game.  All we players do is come out and mess up all the fine work you guys just got done working on.

Kinda like Sysyphus,, you roll that rock up the hill and every day we kick it back down.   :lol :lol

Shank = Snap Fade

Greens Keepers = Highly Paid Grass Growers who can mow pretty lines.:rofl J/K

They have an air Show every year in the town where the Course I play at is. Small airport but a big show. F4U's P51 Zeke and a few others. Couple Bombers as well , and 1 year an f15. When he broke windows out of houses for 3 days...they pretty much told them no more of that.

It is great because they all fly RIGHT over the course. I enjoy watching em during the couple days before the show and during.

Irons: Mizuno MP-29's, 1, 3-PW (the Knife is the sh*t  ) X100 shafts

I play the mp-33s.  I love the true blades.  You guys talking about the hybrids may want to look at the hogans.  I have a really good friend who plays for Hogan Golf, and I've hit them some, they seem really good.

Redtop, this guy I mentioned above has played quite a few pro-ams and he says all the pros he's played with have at least one hybrid in their bag...  I'm sure its a matter of preference, but there must be some advantage to them...

I wanna play golf.. this 30 degree crap SUCKS!!

Hmmm. Golf.  :cool:

Good luck out there, Stang. Earned my living at it many years ago, so I know what you're going through.

(Tops of my ears are burned off, a pasty white left hand that contrasts nicely with the tanned hide masquarading as skin on my neck and forearms and the best memories of my life.)

If someone is really bored and a golfer, Here>> are the first few chapters of a golf novel titled "Backspin" coming out later this year.

Premise is fiction, but the stories and characters are all real.
