As an Afterward to my earlier post...

Thanks to everyone who kicked my bellybutton in the CT. I learned my lesson, and managed to bag 2.5 P-40es during the past Squad Ops in the SEA. All because I learned the value of "Pull up and left" lol.

So and thanks again.

the value of "pull up and left"? I don't get it? You mean something specific, or you mean you never knew to turn high? Or what? I'm not following.

Normally, I fly Yaks, So my first instinct is to speed up the fight, by using a split S, or Low yo-yo type maneuver. I've been flying the same two planes for so long, that it's become second nature to me. So, when flying the Zeke in an Event against P-40s, I found myself pulling down and out, building up speed, that gave the advantage right to the P-40s. It took some actual practice for me to get into the mode of trying to scrub my energy for a quick 6 shot, as opposed to building/maintaining my speed for a protracted scissor fight.

One of the nice things about the CT is that it forces you to get off your butt and experience some variety.  How many people in the MA get any significant experience in flying the Tony, or the P40, or the Emil and Spit/Hurri Is, I wonder?

As I'm sure you can appreciate, I don't have a lot of time for experimentation :p

True.  I'm surprised you have any time at all.  Good example of a master of time management.
