X800 Pro...
« on: February 04, 2005, 08:15:46 PM »
I just installed a gigabyte X800 pro....my default FPS in the tower with my old Ti-4200 was 75. The X600 was 59 (but I think it has AA enabled). Maxing out the sliders drops it to 19 in the tower....a bit less than I expected. I guess 1st thing I'll do is benchmark the card. I installed the drivers that came with the card. Whats the best course of action to go about optimizing things...

Athlon 64 3200+
DFI lanparty board (754)
1 gig PC3200 ram

Thanks....

Call me confused.  Do you have an X800 or X600?  Big difference in those two.

I'm a bit perplexed as well....I deleted all my old drivers before installing the card...it seems to be working flawlessly. i'm downloading aquamark 3 to get a benchmark....

Checking things out and noticed my AGP is at 4x even if I go from auto to the "forced" 8x in bios?
