60/40 question
« on: February 05, 2005, 02:40:16 AM »
I thought it was supposed to be 60% axis and 40% allies.
Yet it was 40% axis and 60% allies on Fri Sq Ops.

Big question is, did the allies lose their B-17s for frame 2 and 3?

The allied B17s survived the night. Two made it to target and got home intact. One had a stick problem but was able to recover from stick spiking but lost a lot of altitude in the process. So since they were so valuable he turned back and landed.

So all 3 B17s in frame 2 and 68K0 on the ground as a fourth being repaired.

SCDR is correct the Allies had 60/40 #'s advantage over the Axis.  Thats a 100% error in side balanceing people.

So the allies get to steamroller the Axis with no penalty whatsoever?

SCDR is correct, the numbers were WAY off. But from what I can see it looks like the Axis did pretty well against the onslaught. Although it looks like the allied did do some heavy damage to targets. From what I see the Axis won air to air, Hands down.

Well the Bombers left 10 min late.. Bombers where not opened tell then... So all the mission everyone was fighting to group up. This also through all the timing off.. So many Bombers where lost.

I think the mission was planed well.  But little things on the settings really messed things up..

That's what my point was/is. The write up in MOTD said that it's
60% axis and 40% allied. Yet upon checking country status, last
night, it showed exact opposite. Was just wondering what
happened.
:D I had fun, dang you F-4F pilots at the port. See what happans
when I try to help someone.
