awesome show

what a halftime show should be about - family entertainment

amazing when you realize the hits he sung are 40 years old and still appreciated by the majority who heard them

I wish they would go back and make half-time fifteen minutes long.

...and pre-game... ONE HOUR... just one!

Good show. Not as good as the Areosmith show from a few years ago which I thought was the best.
but pretty good.

One thing that annoys me about all the halftime shows is the pseudo fans they always have surrounding the stage.

From the looks of it half the "fans" there are too young to even know any of those songs.
And if they are real fans
They also managed to find probably the only black man in the country who is into the Beatles LOL

The Areosmith show was great, but I think this was even better. This had better sound and a much better look.

Those fans around the stage are BS......but in this case, Paul kinda had the whole stadium interested.

I was surprized that his vocals where so good. The band and Paul have always been great musicians, but I was impressed by how well Paul's vocals sounded.

I was expecting to hear some bad vocals, but found myself very surprized.......

I was thinking the same thing.
I saw one of his more recent concerts about a year or so ago on TV and his voice wasnt nearly as good.

Im thinking perhaps is was sudio recorded  and lip synced.
His voice just sounded..too young.

Paul did a great show. I liked the stage they used, too. I don't think he lipsynced. I heard his voice crack a couple times during the show, but not badly.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Definitely not lip-synched.  It's easy to tell when the singer throws in a little ad-lib between lines.  It's nearly impossible to lip-synch something like that perfectly since there's no time to it.  It was a live performance and a darn good one at that.

Paul impressed me a lot.  But, the guitarist impressed me even more.  He had a modern sense to him, but kept the vintage "Beatles" feel to his playing.

All in all a great halftime show.

I've seen him live two times, and this Halftime was legit, no Ashley Simpson impersonations.   Hey Jude, Live and Let Die, Get Back, and Drive My Car are easy for him to sing.   His voice did crack, but, he sounded JUST like he did in 1990 and 1993.    He takes care of himself, some artists don't.

Best part about the show: no dancers.

Paul sounded good, the songs were classics and the fireworks display was a nice addition.  Maybe the NFL will figure out these kind of half-time shows are what 99% of their fans would rather see.  That... or nothing at all.
