Great stuff.  Thanks for the post.  :)

He stresses the importance of precision flying (precise turns, etc), which is something I just can't fully achieve in this game.  Even with a separate throttle control & rocker switch for the rudder, my turns are rarely as coordinated as I'd like.

...have to see if I can mess with the deadband, again.

I got my private liscence at the same school as him, they didn't teach me ACM tho :(

Good stuff, thanks Wotan

another little note, he didn't drink, well that's easily understood , Verdun, in Montreal , is still a dry town, no bars.

He wouldn`t have been able to hack it in AH. :D

fastest scoring Allied pilot...very agressive pilot

was known as having EAGLE eyes, he'd peel off from his wing and go kill a 109 that know one saw, they didn't believe him even though they had the gun-cam, they went to the site he said he saw plane go down, and voila, dead 109

was also known as a Lonewolf, or loner...all flight commanders hated him because he wouldn't listen to em...

eventually they decided he did have some talent and they gave him charge of instructing deflecting shooting to other VETS and noobs...

he was a specialist at deflect, thats what I always tried to emulate in AH...

It was. Back then the question got submitted  on paper, then the peron being interviewed would give written answers and then both the questions and answers would be edited and then read live on the air.
