Heretik is right... I had this problem almost a year ago, and I didn't play but maybe 4 hours in that next month.  I find that I cannot put down the game completely, but this just enhances my fun factor when I make the comeback

I try flying planes I don't normally fly, especially the ones that die quicker than most others like the P-40B, Dauntless, Boston, etc. If I can land kills or just survive then it can be fun.

I find that it is not so much changing planes as much as the types of fights.

I get really bored when maps like Baltic are up and all the fights are a sector flight or more away.  This means climb out and basically hope to meet another guy co alt or be forced to cherry pick whomever you run into.  This is fun for about an hour, but after that I'm ready for something different.

The flip side is stay low and fly under 10+ cons dropping in on you.  Do this for a few hours and I am ready for a change.

Now log in night after night and the above is all you get and I am ready to cancel my account and move on.  But then I get the few good nights where many guys from the squad are online and there are good fights to be had and that gets me through another month.

But no doubt about it this game has it's ups and downs.

on a night you have a LONG time to fly, take a pony up to 22k and kill everything you can instilling a "hard deck" of 19K dont go below unless to refuel, or die.... see how long you can fly. i made it for 3 hours and 27 kills in the same plane, 5 reloads.

ive done that allready. and sisnce i have no reputation to worry about nor extra money to spend, i did it on my very own account

i am in by choice a squad that flies only LW planes, and i enjoy it very much.

every now and then there are no squad members on, and i feel in the mood for something "different".

believe me it has kept me from quitting the game out fo frustration or boredom a bunch of times. my shades almost never talks on vox, never fights my squad, is not in a squad, it's just for "goofing off" and i do it 1 or 2 times a month.
