A question about squad ranks.
« on: February 08, 2005, 02:38:52 PM »
Greetings Community,

This is my question, as far as squad ranks go will inactive members have a negative effect on the total squad rank?

Ok now how about this case, a squad member flew on the first of the month and has not flown since. Say they are currently ranked in the 3000 range and everyone else is below 1000 will that count negativaly towards overall squad rank?

Was looking for something and happend to revisit this thread.

The rank of the individuals in the squad are not particularly important to squad ranks.  The gross statistics for the squad (eg. kills/death+1, kills/sortie, kills/time...ect.) are compaired aginst the gross statistics of all other squads.

So if your hypothetical squadie flew 15 sorties at the begining of the month and quit, and the rest of the squad logged 1,100, they only account for 1.3% of the squads sorties.  Their effect on the squads rank should be even less than that percentage.
