film questions
« on: February 16, 2001, 05:02:00 AM »
Hi Guys,
How do you move the POV when watching a film?
When watching a Buff (or MTB)film, is it possible to jump positions?
How do you zoom the outside view?

Thanks in advance, y'all

:-)

Well, the same way you would if you were flying.

If you want an outside view, hit F3, and then use your view hat or number pad to skew the view around.  You can also use zoom, and the [] keys to control your viewpoint's distance from the plane.

About those keys. They control the optical zoom when you are in an internal and bomb view, but controls the camera distance when you are in external.

Mange tak, alle sammen.

Why is it that so many games have problems with non-US keyboards in this wonderfull day of windows? We're long past "protected mode", at least I thought so, so do these games use their own keyboard drivers or what?

I must admit HT's keymapper with some thought can be used to avoid this, but some games, most notably Rowan's battle of brittain are almost unplayable because of it.

any ideas?

Is there any way to cut and join cam files?

I'm begining to build a collection of films, as we all do, but to be honest I'd like to be able to cut out my all too frequent trips back to the tower.

I allways hit F4 then zoom or use [ ] keys to zoom. F3 also works but its a different POV than what i want to see.

No, theres no film editor.

Dog out....
