doesn't seem to work well for me.....
When I had to remove my CH stuff (the throttle is AGAIN otw to CH due to view hat) and I installed a brand new (was replaced by Saitek for view hat) Saitek X45, I enabled the rotary's for pitch and yaw.
I normally fly with CT off. When I used to release auto pilot with my CH the plane tended to stay level or going in what ever direction I been going. With the Saitek and the rotaries setup and centered the plane would nose way UP soon as I released the auto pilot.
So I would add in some pitch down. Just a tad and the plane starts into very nose down attitude. Just very slight movement of the Saitek rotary seemed to apply hugh amounts of trim.
So had to put CT on all the time.
And the handling seemed .... well YUCK!
So uninstalled saitek. And reinstalled it and DID NOT apply rotary's at ALL and turned off CT.
Now it flys more like the CH rig did. And with CT off. Admittedly with CT off I gotta watch the nose tending to go right at high speed in some planes, and correct for it with some left rudder, but I like CT off here. The planes tend to handle better with CT off IMHO.
Point I'm trying to make is the Saitek seemed to handle terribly for me with the rotaries setup and CT had to be on
With rotary set to trim plane handled terrible, with CT also on plane seemd to handle just a bit better but turn very poorly at times
Turn off/not setup rotary trim axis and CT off and it handles much better IMHO.
Guess it's a combo of my system and the flight controls and AH.
Skuzzy you got an opinion/information on this?
