I know this ain't the right forum but I was clearing my late Dads house and found a box.  Inside was a load of shrapnel that my dad, as a boy, picked up off the streets of my town.. Coventry

cool stuff!

i got a box full of shrapnel right here that i picked up from the fields and old trenches of versaille and other northern places in France. I believe you can still go there today and find the stuff everywhere. i went about 8 years ago.

Crazy stuff, you would see bits of old razor wire and catridge cases. some guy on our field trip found an unexploded artillery shell and they had to clear us off the site and deal with it :lol

some of the shapes and sizes of the metal are horrible, especially when you consider where, how fast and into what they were travelling....
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.
