This is Deputy CO Gerald Johnson's, bird.   Not sure I like it much, though I really like the flag stripes on the rudder.    Those spinners are a B*@#&   no matter what I do I can't get them to look natural.



Back to finish up Jandina IV and then that'll be 2 J's and 2 L's for me.     Think I'll wait for Pyro's decision before I start any of the earlier 38s.    I just don't have many interesting P-38G profiles.

Nice Oboe.
I've given up trying to match the spinners to rest of artwork.
Unless the specularity is added to the spinners it's impossible, get it to almost match one view, pan around it's out again.

Shame we can't use 32 bit bmps with an alpha channel where grey shades control the shinyness (as FS2004). But then even in DXT3 format each file is 1.33mb.

Get that 'J' finished, can't wait to see the 3 80th P-38's together ;).
