Skuzzy - turning on Private Messages on the bb?

Hey Skuzzy,

One feature which would be total value-add to all of us players is the private message feature in the boards.

There are many many times I wanted to send someone a quick note on the forums, but I have to open up my email application.

Especially during my lunch breaks at work, it would be super for me to send anyone a quick note via PRIVATE MESSAGE in the forums.

Could we look at turning this forum feature on?  What was the rational behind turning it off?

you with personal attacks, insults and the like all day long as long as my fingers could type.

not that i'd do that, but if i can think of it, im sure some diabolical mind here could come up with worse ways to abuse the system.

sadly, it could be a very useful feature, but there would no doubt be spill over of "fights" onto the board that even MORE moderation would be neceassary for the HTC staff.

Should leave it off as default.. but make it optional to turn it on in user cp settings.
