Paras and killshooter
« on: February 07, 2000, 01:43:00 PM »
After the bishes had captured a field yesterday, there was another goon on the way who didn't make it in time, the field was already ours.  Just for fun, he dropped his troops anyways.  I was in a 26 preparing to land, so I fired a few shots at the paras.  To my amazement, the ones I shot dissapeared!
I think that either killshooter should be on for friendly paras, or nothing at all happens when you shoot them.  I could easily see someone inadvertantly killing their own men while vulching a field.  If we have killshooter on for friendly planes, why not turn it on for friendly paras?

I like that effect.  Unless there turns out to be some twit doing it on purpose I'd like to see the vultures have to avoid hitting them.

I guess that kinda explains why we don't get a capture after a drop at times, I often wondered why, but I have to agree with Fatty, refrain from shooting your own paras
