The funniest thing about the "Iran-Russia nuclear deal" is that Russia clearly stated that we need 100% of used nuclear fuel back for recycling, and this is what enraged our American partners.

As for me - Iran is a country with reasonable foreign policy, making changes towards open and free (not "democratic" in American way) society, and Putin's upcoming visit to Tehran is a good move.

As for me - Putin is a [followng three lines erased by "internal censor" as inappropriate for this Forum]. He is killing a country, and I wonder when he and his gang will stop.

They are the biggest supportes of Hizbola (spell) and as of this week France and the EU have decided that Hizbola is not a terrorist orginization.  So if they are not a terrorist outfit, would it be ok if Iran gave them the materials to build a nuke plant in Syria or its client state lebanon?

What if, years from now Iran decided to make a deal with the Chechens?  They could very easily be the supplier of choice for terrorist around the world.

As long as I am on the what if,
What if Indonesia decided they wanted a nuke also and actively sought assistance from Iran.  Indonesia has the worlds largest Muslim population and they may need expansion room some day.  Suppose they decide New Zealand has historical ties to Indonesia and they want it back.  They tell Australia (the only real defense NZ has) that if they assist NZ they will use "all means" (nukes) to defend themselves.

Iran is a country that 100% supports Russian anti-terrorist operation in Chechnya. It's Turkey that gives shelter to Chechens, hospital care and recreation between hostilities. Another NATO member state, isn't it interesting?

I doubt that Iran will ever supply terrorists with WMD. They are not insane. Remember, they fought bloody tyrant Saddam for 8 years! ;)

I have no idea why wanting the spent fuel back would *enrage* anyone.....doesnt make sense to me.

Same thing here... Americans started to object about Busher power station after Russia declared that return of used fuel elements for recycling is mandatory for Iran to prolong the contract. Some things in US policy is hard for me to understand. Maybe it's my Eastern common sence? :rolleyes:
