Ok Im sadly a fan of this series.
But for some of us the location of this season has WWII wrecks and plenty of leftover goodies.

They showed an A6M Zero that had ditched in very shallow water.  The rowboat passed near it in the beginning of the show.

Who the crap was that idiot lady who kept singing?!?!?  She was insane.

Voting off the black lady was a bad idea.  She made a mistake, but she was a strong leader.  Not to mention a lawyer.

LOL I filled out an application and made a audition tape for this Survivor.
Actually got called into interview when they where in Dallas.
They pick 800 people from all over the country and meet them at 10-12 cities across America.

Then they select 48 to go to Calif and go thrue all  the testing.
I did not make it to the 48 stage but they told me That I might be considered for future show.

I would have loved to gone to Palau The diving there is the best in the world for wreck divers.

Apply you never know you might get lucky.
They tend to choose for a certain type of person and younger people make up about 80% of there selection.

Leaving only 20% for Gay people and middle aged old farts like me.

Notice they ALWAYS have a gay person
And they ALWAY have some black folks.
And they ALWAYS have at least 1-2 middle aged people.

Very well thought out casting.
BTW you have to be creative to get there attention w/ your audition tapes .

I dressed up in purple panties and bra wearing a big black cowboy hat and boots.,
And stated I was there to represent the cross dressing cowboys of America LOL.

They told me that it GOT there attention.:)

Have a friends daughter who made it onto Fear Factor - I am pretty sure the episode airs Monday "Friends in Vegas" or something like that. She is paired with one of her girls friends, a Playboy model, both work at Hooters..

What I dont get is why the voted two off right from the get.
Why bother bringing them out there to begin with?
Was kinda pointless I thought.

But now Im thinking we havent seen the end of those two. And Im betting they will be rejoining the rest somewhere in the middle of the season somehow.

I gave up on that show.
they should just call it "Gross out factor" as it now has more to do with how much they can gross people out by eating disgusting stuff then about facing fears.

It was cool in a weird way the first couple times but its just gotten to be too much already

Classic example of a good idea used far far too often

I have a much better idea for survivor.
Make it in the true sence of the word.

Place a bunch of people on an island  seperatelywith nothing more then a way to make fire and a knife.

Only ways off are either surrender and quit, loosing challenges against one another.
Become so run down/malnurished/dehydrated a doctor determines if you stay any longer you will die.
Last person standing, wins.

Oh and you should be able to raid each others camps and steal their stuff.. if you can

and who would watch that?

Let them actually die (and/or kill each other), and you've got something for one season before folks get bored with that too.
