April 13th, 1942
After two days of bombing this was the last Day before the American bombers return to Australia.
The Americans had 3 B-17’s and 4 B-26’s to carry out there last target to slow the Japanese. On the Other hand the Japanese where not going to just sit there and wait for the Americans to destroy there Capablities in the Pacific. On April 12th after the first American strike the Japanese had found the positions of the Americans Bomber bases and Head Quarters.
