More than usual for anyone else?

Might just be my luck, but darn near ever other flight I have been getting a pilot wound. Figured it is just my luck since I have not seen anyone else post about it.

So do you think you are getting a lot more pilot wounds than usual in the J?

Haven't noticed it in the G which is all I fly.  I seem to lose my left engine all the time though.  Could be from all the bullets into it :)

It is funny to see this post. I flew the PJ the other night for the first time and out of ten missions that night into tank town, I came away with seven pilot wounds. I just figured it was me, since I was down low pumping 20mms into every bit of soft armor I could find. That being said I never did lose a bird. Even when peices of my plane were falling off, she still got me home.

I fly the J a lot and haven't noticed an abnormally high pilot wound rate.

It's a big plane with a big cockpit. I don't find it any worse for pilot wounds then the 38-L or a 47. Flying these large planes requires you to make an effort to not expose the vital parts when someone gets a shot. If you keep your engine and canopy safe and don't get hit in the tail you can absorb all kinds of damage accross the wings and fuselage.

I just started flying again, though my account has always stayed active. I too notice the pilot wounds seem much more frequent in the 38. Seems every other up in a 38 I take hits I am wounded. Still I am enjoying the 38. I just figured it was my lack of skill as when I am not wounded I tend to end up with my face in the dirt.

I just Noticed more Pilot wounds then Before, From Every angle.
Since I do like flying the 38J i just thought since the Pilot sits above the plane that would be it. So I started flying other rides and still the same thing. Now I figure it my connection
