I would like to see it implemented where the range marker of an enemy icon at 200 or less is replaced by your opponents game ID.

Why would you?

Who in their right mind would ask for that?

However, seeing who you're fighting when you're real close up with him could certainly make for some further addiction to this game.

Think it might be fun but it's yet another step in the wrong direction I think. Not sure how I feel about it. I do agree that it might add to some further addiction to the game though, have the feeling some people would be hunted down quite badly by the horde.

I'm not really for that idea....although I suspect there would be two groups of people singled out by it....

The ones that would get treated very well (Oh..thats "yyy", lets let him ditch/RTB).....and the ones that would draw no quarter from the crowd.  I can see it now...."xxx" just flew past me headed West, lets get'em!!!!  Of course I'm not completely sure that situation isn't sort of the norm now sometimes lol.

when i was talking to 82 earlier he made an interesting point, if you got close enough, you could often tell the pilot by thier markings.

SHawk mentioned the other night that squad-specific skins might be an interesting identifier. I kinda like that idea, as squad art isn't really a practical identifier for me (stupid old monitor), but with the skins you could in theory get a decent idea of what particular group you were up against, without spoiling all the fun.
I'm not exactly sure how easily (or not) that could be implemented, but I just tossed that as as food for thought.

I'm not a real big fan of the personal identifiers, as I rather enjoy the suspense. Interesting ideas though.

I'd personally prefer just to have a star (or similar) show next to the icon of someone who has had a kill streak running.

Hunt the stat dweebs!

Interesting....they did that in Fighter Ace. I became quite a popular fellow one time when I had a 50+ kill streak going. Had 10 stars by my name. Was a ton of fun.
