I don't watch TV much and don't have anything but basic cable but ai do have a 62" TV and watch a lot of DVD's

lately I have been renting or buying old series or recent HBO ones..

Deadwood is great!   got the first one and then ended up renting the rest in about a week.

my kind of place it was.

Indeed, its a great show.

Too bad I missed a few of them while I was in the process of moving. It gets difficult for me to go back to watching a series when I miss a few of 'em.

Dang, now you got me all interested.
I went to the site and checked the series out.......now I`m doomed.
I don`t get HBO so I guess it`s the DVD route for me.
When I go to Sturgis I always spend some time in Deaswood gambling and having fun. A cool place with a lot of history.

even if it was on a station that I get I would just not watch it and then rent it when it came out on DVD..

I like being able to watch at my leisure and pleasure not theirs.

Anyone I identify with?   No... but maybe a cross of several..  like wild bill and swearington.

Love that show ... Calamity Jane ... now there is a real woman.

New season starts soon on HBO ... can't wait.

In my mind's eye ... I picture Lazs as the Doc (lookswise).

Ian McShane is great! I can't wait for Swearengen to square off against the new Sheriff this season.
Oh yeah, and to see more of Molly Parker's tata's. :D

Trivia.

Ian McShane is the same actor that played Flight Sargent Andy in the movie "Battle Of Britain"
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
