I remembered Sandman and Creamo's posts a few weeks back about Partypoker.com, and gave it a try. It's fun, even if I am losing my shirt.

So... I'm just curious if there's any interest in an AH player poker game tomorrow night. Just fake money, and we'll set up a private room and have at it for a couple of hours or so.

We can work out the details if there's any interest.

For anyone who doesn't know partypoker.com, I just ran through the registration and set up an hour ago, and it's painless.

So...?

Just in case this happens, I suggest that if you are interested, you play at least a few hands beforehand (tonight?) so you get a sense of the interface and how it flows.

I am not even close to being a poker player, but it didn't take long.

Sand - do you have any experience hosting a room etc? That's above my pay grade at this point. You know, the mechanics of actually pulling it off. (heh) Can you figure that bit out?

Also... what style of poker? Texas holdem? Something else?

I've only played with PartyPoker once or twice. I usually play on ParadisePoker.

Okay... installed and attempted. Private tables aren't activated.

Not being a regular, I couldn't tell you if it's ever been activated.
