Is they any way to copy an image and print it from something using "Quick time"   i.e.   Info on US Patent pages. suck as a SPEC drawing?   1st time ive ever seen Quick time used in this way. but all the drawings and document details are done using quick time and i want to print the copy off.

There's a handy screen capture program for a few bucks at http://www.techsmith.com called snagit.

It lets you choose the area of the screen and then rip it. They also make an awesome live capture utility - I use it all the time at work.

Hey Thanks Siaf_csf.   have you grabbed anything from A "QUICK TIME" file?  these docs im trying to get are all set in a web page but in quick time format.  Why i dont know, but they are.


Im gonna DL it and try in on Monday (its a work issue) , but if you havent tried it with QUICK TIME please do and tell me if you can SNAG IT and print the image?

Yes that's where snagit differs from printscreen - it's able to capture also live video and such and let you print it. I don't have snagit, I have the camtasia studio which records a movie from the desktop.

There's a free trial so it's your lucky day.

I've never used quicktime for anything other than viewing crap from humor sites. Don't like it at all personally.

Having said that, you can open and edit quicktime with a suitable software such as any other video.
