I baught thier CD actually and have to say I REALLY like their music.  Anyone else?  It's not quite country....not quite latin.

DAMN I must have missed that  post completly.  I just recently discoverd them (my antenna in the jeep is broke so CD only for me)

Yep good old Texas boys.
Henry's infuence was Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
You can hear it in his palying.

I'll have to agree with you. The playing is not quite Stevie and not quite santana but you do hear it.

You texas boys ever hear of a guy named Paul Bird?  Or a band 8 ball and the breakers?

Some north texas acts that do texas blues right.

I bought their CD 2 weeks ago.  I was blown away by a cupla the songs.  

Favorites so far:

Track 1 Senorita
Track 2 Heaven
Track 3 or 4 Hollywood

From the little I have heard them they remind me a great deal of the group Los Lobos.

Good band but one of their songs is really over played on the radio here in Alabama. They were here last summer for City Stages and put on a good show.

Odd. Most Marines aren't known for their artistic acumen. You must be an exception. I bet you're a devil when it comes to matching drapery with wall paint.
