I want a plane made out of whatever they make tailhooks out of.

Really, I know its probably hardened steel and much denser than aluminum, but I just wanted to post this pic.

OK, now I'm embarrassed.  How do you post pics?

Well, I could tell you but then you would not learn anything now.  That's an annoying but true statement.

Here is a *big* clue.... use the "preview reply" button to see what your post will look like before it is posted!! That also allows you to test links and images! Messing with all the IMG, "http://" stuff is good, but the bottom line is to test your post before you submit it using the preview reply.  Of course, if you are starting the thread a better name for the button is "preview post", but that's just semantics.

Regards,

Malta

Dayooper, you used HTML copied from the website. HTML won't work here.

When typing your message, click on the IMG button in the tool bar above the text box. Then type in the URL of the image (easier to cut and paste it), and click OK. It's that easy, but unfamiliar if you're used to HTML.

as widewing showed, that site does not allow "hotlinking" meaning taking the picture directly from them, and posting it somewhere else

you have to host the picture somewhere else.

try http://www.picturehangar.com
I don't know what to put here yet.

Now I will add a story of an F-7 landing on a carrier.  It caught the wire, the tail hook ripped off, the plane plunged into the water, and the pilot ejected.  He ejected directly into the water, was knocked unconscious, and drowned.

I want a plane made out of HTC trees!  That wood is amazing,
can even stop 88mm armor piercing rounds point blank! :p
