Thursday Night Missions
« on: March 03, 2005, 10:28:29 PM »
I'm done making missions. After about 20mins of asking who wants to run the mission and who wants to lead the buffs Stream said he'll do it and RedDog would lead the 47s. But instead of flying Lancs like the mission was setup they wanted to fly something else, I guess cuz lancs have no guns on it after the axis flew Ju88s  at 10K allieds are scared to fly lancs. So after i give up and no one saying anything about starting the mission JG54 starts to do a squad mission bout 3/4ths the way there we see a big darbar in the channel that looks like its heading east instead of heading to the south to the target. So its to late to roll intercept and climb to 25+K so the buffs can just fly where ever they want. Im not ganna waste anymore of my time to make missions that i have to almost beg ppl to fly in.

Truekill,

I was trying to get across that I had guys up already in bombers and I was still in the tower...I don't fly bombers, only when I have to...  They didn't know about the mission... I was trying to help out, not do just anything...

Truekill,

I salute you for your efforts.  It’s obvious that you put a lot of thought and time in preparing your Thursday night CT missions.   One would think that the detailed and descriptive posting, complete with color coded map, would make your intentions clear to all.  I understand and share your frustration.  Thank you for many fun missions and for all your trouble.

I don't know what happened but we 325 Roughnecks took off to bomb befor we knew about the mission, about half way to target people started talking about it and recruiting, then about a sector out of target we get met by tons of escort and a few bombers that tryed to form but where too low. Infact on our way back I asked on squad vox
"How did the four of us become the thursday night mission?"

sorry we don't know why people decided to join us instead of do the mission.
