Um, no.

The D3A1 that we have had a top speed of 242mph. The D3A2 had a top speed of 281mph.

what if he was at 20k and dove down? could he reach 380+ an not damage plane? at that speed?

In reality? I have no idea. In AH it just depends on where HTC put the structural failure point.

It is a dive bomber, so it should have some strength to it I'd think.

just went to TA. climbed to 10k, i got to 400 mph. so i guess it can. ty karnak.

oh im fine

had a D3A catch my 500 mph 262 yesterday, one ping pilot wound me from 600-800 out. i hit film just after that, but he had broken off, got him at 380+, i thought something wouldve came off, ie wings or something, but nope. so i went to TA to prove it to myself.

wanna do tests like that quicker? Go offline, setep > arena setup > environment wind. Set a rise of 127 and click set layer. When you spawn on runway right after you turn engine on you will start hovering then climb pretty much straight up, when you get to the alt you want go back to thw wind settings and click no wind.
