Author Topic: Something Odd with A-20 (Read 1101 times)

I've been flying to A-20 a good bit lately and I've gotten an "instant death" on every flight from what seemed like minor hits. I've not notice any damage to the plane, just an instant death from a few pings.

It's almost like the pilot is sitting outside the plane and is about 3x normal size. Anywho, just wanted to mention this and see if anyone else had this problem.

The number of audible pings do not match the actual count of hits landed on your plane.

At least, that's what the people say.

I realize this but I've flown the A-20 a lot in the past and she could take a lot of damage. Now a few pings from a 7mm rounds it's an instant death.

I get no damage to the air-frame on these last 15 sorties. Just instant doa's.

I'd have to agree with this. I've only flown the A20 a few times but recently when I've flown it I've received no damage just instant death after only a few pings.
And certainly less pings then I can usually absorb in my more fragile 109 f4

I agree also. It usually just pops like a balloon when hit.

Not only that, The A20 seems to rip its wings off really easy. I've been in a shallow dive, speed about 225 -250 , full ord, pull the nose up just a bit, boom!! , ~wingless~. It started doing that to me a few versions ago, so I dont drive it at all,. its wings "no likey me"

I have Flown a sector and a half only to get to target and become wingless before ever engageing . It could just be happening to me.

but thats what the a20 has done to me.

Has anyone else experienced this ?

I agree.

A few versions ago A20 was quite good "fighter" also but it is almost useless now.

I have noticed also some weird flight model things in it. Unfortunately my english is not good enough to explain them. I need some help from other finns..

It still is a good fighter if you fly it light no more then 50% fuel
25% even beter if your ripping wings of with external ord at slow speeds then your pulling out to hard. best to get rid of ord befor fighting.
